Hey there! Welcome to the newly revamped UA Theatre and Dance blog! We’re going to be bringing you more in-depth news about UA Theatre and Dance productions, as well as interesting stories from around the department. It’s been a while since we’ve come to you with any news, and we’re sorry about that. But, a lot of exciting and new things have really kept us pretty busy around here. First off, you’ll notice that we don’t have a Blogspot page anymore, and that we have a section on the brand new Theatre and Dance website! We’re really excited about this change, and it’s been a long time coming. If you have any questions or comments about the website, be sure to let us know!
Speaking of communicating with us, we’re really going to be upping our social media game throughout the year, and we want to hear what you’re going to want to see from us. We’ll be sharing campus news, theatre and dance industry links, Tuscaloosa events, as well as a few surprises along the way. But, our sharing really depends on you, our loyal audience! If we’re not putting up things that interest and engage the community, we want to know. Be sure to follow us across social media to keep up with all of our latest news, links, and ticket giveaways!
On this blog, we’ll be bringing you more in-depth stories of UA Theatre and Dance, ranging from behind the scenes looks at shows, to interviews with new faculty and students who are doing exciting work. We’re going to be putting up pieces on shows as they come throughout the season, focusing on behind the scenes views, and offering different perspectives for productions We’ll also showcasing Dance Alabama!, Alpha Psi Omega, Nu Delta Alpha work throughout the semester as well.
