From Stage Directions: “I think of where I am now, and where I could have been earlier if I had done summer study when I was studying theatre in school,” says Brian Crowe, director of education at Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. “When I do recruiting I tell them that while they are in school it’s important to do some training with a professional theatre. Any good summer study program will increase connections and hopefully lead to work later.”
