As we close our season with A Chorus Line, UA Theatre & Dance will host its last Theatre Thursday event on April 20 at 5:30pm. Join us at Jim ‘n Nicks before the show for discounted appetizers and a fun dinner with your friends!
The Theatre Thursday series began last year as an initiative for graduate students to meet new people, take a break from studying and enjoy a night at the theatre. This year, we opened the event up to all students and community members who enjoy a nice dinner and conversation before seeing a show. We’ve partnered with Jim ‘n Nicks to provide a great atmosphere for conversation and great food.
Each time, The event ties into the production in the Marian Gallaway Theatre and tries to entice new audiences and attendees. For A Chorus Line, the department targeted on campus residence halls for a fun night with residents. The show and event provide a great opportunity for another social program with friends, roommates and other residents on campus before the school year ends.
Theatre Thursday is open to the public, but you must pick up a discount voucher at the box office to qualify for the discounted appetizers. Ask for the “Theatre Thursday” table at Jim ‘n Nicks and join the line before you see A Chorus Line. To purchase tickets for A Chorus Line, please visit the box office in Rowand-Johnson Hall, Monday – Friday 12-5pm.
